Sodium related query



Who do you think it was that first looked at salt and thought, "Hey, I'll eat that!", and more importantly, why?

Legend has it that a Jewish miner was crushed working in the salt mines. As he lay dying, some of the powdered salt fell from the ceiling above him. If landed in his mouth, prompting him to speak these famous last words:

"This would taste great on meat!"

I like sea salt and kosher salt. I find standard table salt to have almost a bitter quality to it.
