Five days to go

Everyone keeps asking me if I'm nervous yet. This makes me nervous.

I love that question, as if the wedding is some kind of exploratory surgury.

Hmmm. I ask that question. I don't include the "yet" because some people actually don't get nervous. But, some people also don't exactly enjoy the idea of being center-of-attention, having to walk down some big, what seems like never-ending aisle, while everyone rises to stare at you. The wedding is thankfully only 1 day. People deal with things differently, Notliberal. Surgeries can be much less hassle and attention than a wedding, because usually one is not even conscious and over 150-some people are not staring at you during the surgery. I would do another cholecystectomy versus wedding day any time.

But, all-in-all, the wedding is worth it. I would focus on being a bit more "nervous" about the marriage. It isn't easy, no matter how many people pretend it is. :)

The needle alone would freak me out for days.

I never did get nervous. I lost it (tears) when my dad drove the wrong car home after the rehearsal, and I forgot two lines of my vows immediately after hearing them, but I was never nervous. I'm guessing that you won't get nervous.
