School is in, summer is out

Fall is here,hear the yell
back to school,ring the bell
brand new shoes,walking blues
climb the fence,books and pens
I can tell that we're going to be friends

Walk with me,Suzy Lee
through the park and by the tree
we will rest upon the ground
and look at all the bugs we found
then safely walk to school
without a sound

Well here we are,no one else
we walked to school all by ourselves
there's dirt on our uniforms
from chasing all the ants and worms
we clean up and now its time to learn

Numbers,letters,learn to spell
nouns,and books,and show and tell
at playtime we will throw the ball
back to class,through the hall
teacher marks our height
against the wall

And we don't notice any time pass
we don't notice anything
we sit side by side in every class
teacher thinks that I sound funny
but she likes the way you sing

Tonight I'll dream while I'm in bed
when silly thoughts go through my head
about the bugs and alphbet
and when I wake tommorow I'll bet
that you and I will walk together again
cause I can tell that we're going to be friends

Credit where credit is due, of course, (we will not tolerate plagiarism) this song is by the White Stripes. Classes started today, amazingly enough, my favorite class so far is Anatomy and Physiology. Not so excited about the English class. This is precisely opposite of what I had anticipated. Hmmm

I'm going to Davenport University, my major is Medical Coding. Fascinating, no doubt. :-)

I don't understand what the big deal is with school. Such drama and whining from the school folk, I almost can't take it.

On another note, I discovered a store called Russo's last night. It's like I died and went to Heaven. They had truffle oil and dried morells, i've been looking for a place that sells this sort of stuff forever. What a thrill.

You've never heard of Russo's before? It's the place to go to for such food stuffs as you mention.

Who's whining about school? I'm simply informing the masses that school has indeed begun. No whining at all.

Medical coding....Is that for insurance companies? Inform me. If so, then why the A&P? Hmmm....

Lydia - I know! Isn't A&P fascinating? Way, way cool.

Medical coding is for insurance purposes. To be honest, I'm not sure why A&P is required. I'm taking Medical Terminology as well, which make more sense for coders and billers to know. I suppose I'll figue this out eventually...
