I've seen it... it's rubbish

Let the peasants rejoice! The Hitchhiker's Guide to the galaxy is now available on DVD! Woot! Funny stuff, obviously. I personally have a deep affinity for Marvin, the paranoid android. Special features on the DVD include deleted scenes, fake deleted scenes, and a Hangman game with Marvin. Also a singalong feature for "So Long and Thanks For All the Fish", a lovely song. Good times, good times.

Hmm...I never watched it. I thought it looked...idk, i guess not my kind of movie. But then, i'm a chickflick kind of girl myself.

Erika,
It's the only chick-flick I enjoyed. Obviously, the blue color scheme for the advertisments fooled you into thinking it was a light-hearted comedy of errors.

You were, evidentailly, fooled by the very clever, witty marketing people.

I'll have to borrow the DVD from 'ya, sis. And you'll have to borrow the season finale of Lost on DVD from me. It's good stuff!

This will all end in tears.

Is that movie whereby miss lemmon brought a towel? I thought it was adequate, though I think it would be better if I had read the book.

You call that job satisfaction? Because I don't.

Life. Don't talk to me about life.

Incredible... it's even worse than I thought it would be.

Chuck, you, my dear boy, are incorrigable...and I'm not sure I spelled that right, sorry. and I DON'T mean the kind frouline maria talks about in Sound of Music, either. Mark, if you smile more it won't end in tears. John...life is to be talked about. what else is there to discuss??

Oh, why do I bother?

It's definitely rubbish. Why watch this movie? Life's bad enough as it is without trying to invent any more of it.

I think you ought to know I'm feeling very depressed.

Mark said...

I could have told you that wouldn't have worked... but you wouldn't have listened.

Erika said...

Chuck, you should be more happy and less depressed and angry. Maybe some lithium would help?

Pardon me for breathing, which I never do anyway so I don't know why I bother to say it. I'm so depressed. Funny, how just when you think life can't possibly get any worse it suddenly does. Do you want me to sit in a corner and rust, or just fall apart where I'm standing?

Thank you for the reccomendation of this film. I saw it and all the applications of it were rushing through my head.

I see it as a movie that promotes the Postmodern ideals. There is no absolute. Truth is relative.

What I hated was all of the references to God and his creation. I saw it as mockery and it reminded me of the "scoffers" that Timothy speaks of!

Thanks for the recommendation. Maybe Delta or Gimme could write a position paper on its world view.

Jeff, its ok, really!! Breath in and out. Enjoy life. Try some lithium. If you must, I'd go for the rusting.
