Happiness

A fun thing happened to me the other night while I was driving to work. My radio was set to the oldies station and upon starting the car, I discovered they were just beginning to play "Old Time Rock and Roll". Well, "Cool" says I, "but I don't particularily want to listen to this song". Thusly, I hit one of my handy-dandy preset buttons to discover that they were playing "Old Time Rock and Roll" as well. In fact, they were about one measure behind the oldies station. This amused me, but I still didn't want to listen to the song. I hit yet another preset button. Against all odds, the third station too was playing "Old Time Rock and Roll", this time being two measures behind the second station. I began to laugh uncontrollably. Then I arrived at work. And that's pretty much the story. So... what do you think about mullets?

I oppose mullets in all circumstances.

BTW, don't think I don't know what you're up to.

You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen

Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for the place to go
Where they play the right music, getting in the swing
You come in to look for a king
Anybody could be that guy
Night is young and the music’s high
With a bit of rock music, everything is fine
You’re in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance...

You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen

You’re a teaser, you turn ’em on
Leave them burning and then you’re gone
Looking out for another, anyone will do
You’re in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance...

You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen

That song's on Miss Congeniality...another movie that would quite possibly, like a walk to remember, set Janna on a tirade:-) Also, I'm pretty sure NL's comment falls under that BLSM catagory!! And what IS she up to?? I'll prolly be the last one to know again *rolls eyes*. I had that once with a Dixie Chicks song...it was VERY bizarre. And I don't have feelings really about mullets...they look kind of silly though.

There is no end to my love for the mullet. I started growing mine when I was five. I have had it ever since. I'm such a rock and roller that I could cry.

I've cried because of it.
If it weren't creepy, it's be cool, 'cause he's devoted to it, and stuff. Him and his mullet.

But again, as I said, it's more creepy than cool.

I've had it before where I'm listening to a song on my CD player, stop halfway through the song only to have the exact same song playing on the radio, at the exact same time I stopped it at. Good times.
